Janice F. Knott-Leibow, age 78, of Elkton, MD passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016.

Born in West Grove, PA on July 2, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Laura (Pyot) Seldomridge. Janice made her career as a registered nurse with Christiana Care Health System, retiring in 2000 after 25 years of dedicated service.

In her leisure time, Janice enjoyed making beautiful floral arrangements, traveling and reading. She delighted in baking pies for her family and walking her dog, Rosie, at Fair Hill State Park.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Webb; brother, Richard Seldomridge; and sister, Lois Bottomley. Janice is survived by her husband of over 23 years, Joel M. Leibow; son, Curtis Knott (Alice) of Bear; brothers, Brinton Seldomridge (Anne) of Smyrna and Everett Seldomridge (Mitzie) of Newark; grandchildren, Kelsey and Emily Webb, Christopher Knott, Alexi Cornelius, and Melissa Merced; and 3 great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately.
