  • Ginger and family,
Jerry was a very important part of my life since he was the one that actually hired me at the Newark Fisher Scientific back in 1987. I will never forget my interview and as I found out after I was hired it was a typical conversation with Jerry. I had come from a softball game so I was in my uniform and he was so excited to hear about how we did and what positions I played which then went into how he wanted to start a team through Fisher and wanted to know if I would be interested in playing if I was hired. All he needed to hear was me saying Yes to that question and I was pretty much hired. Then we went into talking about football and how I could be a Dallas fan. I don’t really remember talking much about anything that did not relate to sports and when I left the interview and called my soon to be husband and told him about how it went we just laughed. From that point on I knew I was going to be in good hands while I was under him there. He was so full of spirit and his laughter was so contagious. What an amazing person that I am honored to have known so well. God bless you all and know that he is up there running around in that Redskins outfit of his enjoying the next chapter of life after death. Love to you all.
