  • Christian and Family, I just found out about John’s death. Having not heard from your dad for the last few months, I decided to search for him online. I knew that he was in ill health but I regret I waited too long to contact him. I was friends with your parents for many years and visited your mom while she was in the hospital. Your dad was a great friend of my first husband Vernon Busse. After our divorce, your dad and I only saw each other infrequently but did talk on the phone and reminisce about the old days in Parkville, MD, and the Moose Lodge dances we attended. I remarried in 1972 and had been married for 44 years when my husband Jack passed away in September 2016. (He had been ill for several years but died suddenly.) I do remember you and your brother and your famous dogs, and the great love your dad and mother had for each other. I wish you all much happiness and will keep your dad and mom in my prayers always.
