John Joseph Lee
Mr. John Joseph Lee, age 45, of Newark, DE, died on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Christiana Hospital.
A native Delawarean, Mr. Lee was born in Wilmington on November 1, 1964. He was a carpenter by profession and a longtime member of Union Local 626 in New Castle.
An avid outdoorsman throughout his life, he enjoyed both fishing and deer hunting. He was also a great fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, Mr. Lee was a devoted family man and will be long remembered as a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, James J. Lee, Jr., and brother, James J. Lee III. He is survived by his daughters, Amanda M. Lee and Anna M. Lee, both of Newark, and their mother, Marsha S. Beck of Ft. Myers, FL; his mother, Alice H. Branch of Bridgeville; brothers, Kenneth Ganter of Seaford; and Mark W. Games of Middletown; sisters, Donna M. Lee of Seaford; and Beckie Gawronski Reynolds and husband, Bryan, of Bridgeville; 6 nieces and 4 nephews; and his fiance, Sandra K. Massey of Middletown.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 12, 2010, in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
