Joyce H. Schuman

Joyce H. Schuman, age 82, of Smyrna, DE passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014.

Joyce was born in Pennsylvania on April 10, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Coleman and Alice Schmidt. She was a homemaker and a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Schuman. She is survived by her daughters, Alice Frost (George) of Oriental, NC, Amy Bellon of Newark, DE, Karen Spry (Dan) of Newark, DE and Deborah Ross of Lagrande, OR; granddaughters, Dawn Burris of Smyrna, DE and Kristen Taggart of Wilmington, DE; grandson, Stephen Bellon of New York, NY; 4 great grandchildren, Victoria Mitchem, Brenden Burris, Tiernan Taggart and Carrigan Taggart; and 1 great great grandson, Anthony Mills.

Services and interment will be held privately.
