Joyce T. Kyle, age 76, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 28, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Theresa Blythe.

Joyce worked for Michael Christopher’s Hair Salon in Delaware for many years and was fond of the numerous friendships she made while there. She also enjoyed working at McDonalds where she enjoyed working side by side her wonderful colleagues and was loved by their many customers.

In her earlier years, Joyce loved dancing at American Bandstand with her many friends and family members. While living in southwest Philadelphia, she looked forward to taking trips to Center City and 69th Street stores. Throughout her life, Joyce has always been an animal lover and was extremely fond of her pets, Max and especially Muffin, her favorite.

In her later years, she loved watching game shows and was extremely fond of Dr. Phil’s show and his daily topics. Joyce took great pride when reminiscing about past events in her life, especially those involving the good times shared with family.

As a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Joyce will always be remembered for the joy she shared of the wonderful accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving pets, Max and Muffin. She leaves many fond memories to her 5 children, John Grossmann, Joseph Grossmann III (Donna), John Jackie Kyle III, Joyce Warner (Matthew) and Michael Kyle; 9 grandchildren, Christina, Joseph IV, Anthony, Trinity, Steven, Billy, Matthew, Shawna, and Shane.
