Karen M.(Scarponi) Rowe, age 57, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 31, 2014.
Born in Pompton Plains, New Jersey on June 19, 1957, Karen was the eldest daughter of the late Peter A. Scarponi and Thora Edge Scarponi. Karen graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1976 where she met her future husband.

As a devoted mother Karen focused much of her spare time ensuring her children were well cared for and involved in community activities, sports and family events. In addition to her involvement with her children, she was always there to support her husband, Chris’ business ventures or caring for her father as he resided with them for the last 12 years of his life.
Karen enjoyed travelling with Chris and would always share her adventures with those whom she came to know and love.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Scarponi. She is survived by her beloved high school sweetheart and husband of over 35 years, Christopher J.
