Kathie Ann Marie (Cole) Hill, age 64, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 2, 2016.

Born in Odessa, DE on August 11, 1951, Kathie was a daughter of the late Michael and Lettie (Whitt) Cole. She was a talented homemaker who devoted her life to caring for her family.

Kathie loved music of all kinds, dancing and humming birds. She adored sitting on her porch swing and listening to the sound of falling rain. A beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Kathie will be very dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy. Kathie is survived by her children, Donald Hill (Vicki) of Bear, DE and Andrea Sutton of Clifton Park, NY; brothers, Michael and David; sisters, Helen and Eva; grandchildren, Lauren Bailey and Taylor Sutton; great granddaughter, Savannah Madigan; and boyfriend, Tommy Macielag.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday evening, July 7, 2016 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday morning, July 8, 2016, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
