Laura Antonio, age 54, of New Castle, DE passed away at home on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, surrounded by family and friends.

Laura was born in Wilmington, DE on November 5, 1960 to Louis W. Antonio and Kathleen (Tidwell) Antonio.
She attended Our Lady of Fatima elementary school and William Penn High School. Family, friends, and co-workers at Aggreko LLC remember Laura as a kind, compassionate woman and an absolute delight who always carried herself with strength and grace. In her leisure time, she enjoyed martial arts, gardening, music, video games and astronomy. Most importantly, Laura cherished spending time with her daughter, Miranda and her mother, Kathleen.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis and a sister, Elaine Alfree. Laura is survived by her daughter, Miranda Antonio and companion, Nick Pearson of Redmond, WA; mother, Kathleen of New Castle; brother, Stephen Antonio and wife, Elizabeth Wolf of Bloomsbury, NJ; sister, Barbara Davis and husband, Robert of Wilmington; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 pm until 4 pm on Saturday afternoon, March 7, 2015 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Laura’s name may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Our Lady of Fatima Church, 801 N. DuPont Hwy., New Castle, DE 19720.
