Lawrence “Larry” E. Tait
December 22, 1956 - April 16, 2018
Lawrence Larry E. Tait, age 61, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018.
Born in Wilmington, DE on December 22, 1956, he was a son of the late John and Evelyn E. (Bartofski) Tait. Larry dedicated his career as a printing service operator with DuPont Company in Wilmington and retired after more than 36 years.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Jeffrey Tait. He is survived by his sister, Joanne M. Holbert (Kenneth); niece, Catherine Holbert; nephew, Kenneth Holbert, Jr.; and many dear friends.
Interment will be held privately in All Saints Cemetery.

Larry was a dedicated usher at Saint Peters Catholic Church in New Castle. Prior to that he was a member of the Lady of Fatima Parish. I know that he came to St. Peters when Father John Klevence became pastor at St. Peters. The three of us even went out to dinner down at the beach after Father Klevence was transferred to St. Anns in Bethany Beach. Larry, not to be confused with Larry Tate, the character from the show Bewitched, was a good guy, who was helpful and did good things for others. He is already sorely missed.
