January 22, 1958 - November 5, 2017

Linda J. (Miller) Watson, age 59, of Seaford, DE, and formerly of Delaware City, DE, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017.

Born in Wilmington on January 22, 1958, she was a daughter of the late James E. Miller and Carolyn (Dinsmore) Miller. Linda retired from Acosta, where she worked as a merchandiser.

In her leisure time, Linda enjoyed taking trips to Rehoboth Beach, being on the water and cheering on her favorite football team, the Seattle Seahawks. She loved flamingos and spending time with her granddaughter.

In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Alice Dinsmore and stepdaughters, Shenita and Teresa Watson. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Paul W. Watson; mother, Carolyn (Dinsmore) Miller; children, Robert Keith Miller (Frances) and Ericka R. Watson; stephchildren, Carolyn O. Watson, Paulette V. Watson, Paul Corbin, Jr. and Todd Armstrong; sisters, Susan Nemetz (Bill), Pat Michael (Jim), Peggy Miller (Buff), and Alice Miller; grandchildren, Lilly Grace Miller and Colin Mettle; nieces, Erin Miller and Shalyn Johnson; and best friend, Karen Reyes.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 6 pm until 7 pm on Thursday evening, November 16, 2017, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Hwy, New Castle, DE, where a Celebration of Life will begin at 7 pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s name to the Food Bank of Delaware, 14 Garfield Way, Newark, DE 19713.
