Linda Johnson, age 50, of Newark, DE passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013.
Born in Bluefield, WV, on August 8, 1963, Linda was the daughter of the late William Taylor and Freda Patrick Taylor. She was employed as a fraud investigator with Bank of America, where she had worked for the past 14 years.
In her leisure time, Linda loved taking rides with her husband on their Harley Davidson. She was a devoted Philadelphia Flyers fan. Linda enjoyed watching movies, especially her two favorites – The Wizard of Oz and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. She was an avid collector of anything related to fairies and gargoyles. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 7 ½ years, Bruce A. Johnson; son, Ronald W. Caldeira of Middletown; stepsons, Anthony M. Johnson and Chad B. Johnson, both of Newark; brother, W. Mark Taylor and wife Loren of Hockessin; niece, Devon H. Taylor of Hockessin; granddaughter, Hailey F. Caldeira; and her faithful canine companion, Dottie.
Friends may call from 6 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE. Services and burial will be held privately.
