  • The sorrow for the loss of a dear friend for over 45 years is overwhelming …Linda was a very charismatic person with a zest for life who never met a person she didn’t take the time to talk to… I had not seen linda for several years but we always exchanged jokes via the internet… A wonderful mother and daughter, linda’s life changed dramatically with the death of her mother… inspiring her to create many memorial sites dedicated to “Mom Shupe”… I hope that someone pays it foward and does the same for her… I have the desire but lack the ability or resources ….
    Life is short…appreciate it… Happy trails Linda…love ya…Billy

  • Linda, you had a rough life. You suffered a lot of losses. You always saw the humor in everything. If you are reading this, you know what I mean. Lol. I know your grandchildren were the light of your life. I’m sure your family was waiting for you. Give Dawn and Laurie a big hug from me. I will miss you honey.

  • Oh dear Wendy, our hearts go out to you and your family. Wrapping you in love and prayers.

  • One of my favorite poems. It’s how I feel.

    Broken Chain
We little knew the day that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you
 but you didn’t go alone,
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you
you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken
 and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one
 the chain will link again.
