A devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, he was happiest spending time with his loved ones and especially looked forward to attending his grandson’s soccer events.

  • Please accept my condolence at Chris’s passing. My most persistent memories of Chris were the times he lead all the crew members of the DEARG through our annual flight physicals. He had an uncanny ability to guide us through, with the patience of Job, the tricky task of filling in all the blanks accurately and completely. I appreciate the great service he performed leading me through year after year all those mounds of paperwork. He had the spirit of a real Guardsman and a was a real Guard Buddy and I will miss him.

  • We served many years together in the Delaware National Guard. Such a shame that post retirement we drift apart from friends we spent so many years with only to be notified of their passing. Most of us called each-other by our last names but for Chris it was more of a nickname after General Krause on Hogan Hero’s. So it fitting that my final good bye would be:

“Rest in Peace Krause – we had lots of good years together”.

A salute to you from Jack Lowe
