Lynn H. Schultz
Mrs. Lynn H. Schultz, age 69, of Newark, DE, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at her home.
Born in Paterson, NJ, on July 22, 1941, Mrs. Schultz was the daughter of the late J.W. Kenneth Howe and Dorothy Lockwood Howe. She made her career as an advocate for the disabled and had been employed as the volunteer coordinator with the ARC Group in Morris Plains, NJ.
Active in her community, Mrs. Schultz attended the Newark United Methodist Church for many years and was a member of both the New Century Club and the Red Hat Society. She was a gifted artist–specializing in watercolors–and also enjoyed playing bridge in her leisure hours, traveling with her husband, and planting a beautiful garden around her home each year.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Richard G. Schultz; son, Kenneth Schultz (Susan); daughter, Nancy Morris (Jason); brother, Harry Clay Howe (Kathy); and grandchildren, Abigayle Morris, Charlotte Morris, Tanner Schultz, and Blake Schultz.
Visitation will be held beginning at 1 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the Newark United Methodist Church, 69 E. Main Street, Newark. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm in the church sanctuary.
