Margaret Lee Stewart, age 92, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2017.
Born in Durham, NC on November 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Sauls) Fields.
Margaret was a talented homemaker who enjoyed gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas J. Stewart; daughter, Deloris Ann Arnold; and her brother, Merle Ivey Fields. She is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Hunter (Lionel); 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 2321 W. Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Regal Heights Healthcare, Attn: Activities Department, 6525 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707.

I am deeply sorry for your loss of such a special lady. Every now and again, a Nurse has a special resident that tugs at your heart and Mrs. Stewart was my special person. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May she RIP. She raised such a great daughter.
