Mariah L. Tuller - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Mariah L. Tuller

April 16, 2014 - October 10, 2016

Mariah L. Tuller, 2 1/2 year old daughter of Samantha L. King, of Georgetown, DE earned her angel wings in the arms of her mommy on Monday, October 10, 2016. Heaven’s gates opened and welcomed their newest angel with the sounds of trumpets. She now resides in the arms of Jesus.

From her favorite movie, Frozen, “some people are worth melting for.” Mariah was that person to everyone who encountered her beautiful personality and gorgeous smile. From those who knew her to those she just met, she touched the lives of all and melted our hearts with her strength and her spirit.

She was the definition of a true warrior, facing every battle with bravery and courage to the very end. “There is not a footprint so small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.” Mariah did just that.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by family members that will live on to honor Mariah’s life; her siblings, Destiny, Dekelvin and Kenley King; grandparents, Michael King and Michelle Hitchens; great-grandmothers, Linda King and Nancy O’Neill; great-great grandmother, Grace Davis; aunts, Ashley King and Miranda King; as well as a host of many loving family members and special friends, especially Deborah Hall, whom the family considered Mariah’s grandmother as well.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at A.I. DuPont Children’s Hospital and Exceptional Care for Children for their excellent care of Mariah.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at 11 am until 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will immediately follow the service in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.

  • They say there is a reason,
They say that time will heal,
    But neither time nor reason,
Will change the way you feel,

    No-one knows the heartache,
    That lies behind your smile,
    No-one knows how many times,
You have broken down and cried,

Samantha i want to tell you something,
So there won’t be any doubt,
Mariah was a fighter and she fought her battle to the end,
Mariah was a pleasure to be around no matter how upset
or mad we were feeling ,to see her always smiling made our heart smile
She is with Tiny mom and Tweety and everyone else laughing having her self a good ole time,
But just know she will always and forever live in your and our hearts…….Stay strong and keep your head up…..Luv Ya ………….
