Marie D. (Saragino) Reno

Marie D. (Saragino) Reno, age 87, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2015, at Regency Healthcare where she resided.
A lifelong Delawarean, Marie was born in Wilmington on November 1, 1927 and was a daughter of the late Joseph Saragino and Stella (Maczynski) Saragino. She was a talented homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother who adored caring for her family. In her leisure time, Marie enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis R. Reno, Jr.; son, Steven A. Reno; and a grandson, Anthony J. Reno. Marie is survived by her children, Louis R. Reno III (Patricia), Marlene West (Michael) and Richard J. Reno; sisters, Helen Hodgson (James), Josephine Mundy (Jack) and Antoinette Beazald (Roland); 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Regency Healthcare and Vitas Hospice for the exceptional and loving care they provided to Marie.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday morning, October 22, 2015, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation will be held from 10 am until 11 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
