  • I am so sorry to hear of Marlene’s passing. I just heard the news yesterday. I enjoyed working with Marlene at Delaware Park. She had a great sense of humor and was a kind and caring person. She often spoke of her family and I know she will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  • Thanks Fran. That is so good to hear. Seems like you always feel like you could have done more. I really do miss her. I do feel like she did a lot of what she wanted to do and had some wonderful friends. Small consolation, but I’ll take it.

  • Thanks Marge. Yes we sure didn’t expect this. Just shows us our time here is limited. It’s good to get back with old friends. Your being around was helpful.

  • Thank you so much. I remember Marlene talking about you. She loved your family. It was a long time ago I know. She didn’t get around very easily the last several years. Didn’t make many pound cakes. I know she would delight in knowing that you remember her in such a warm and loving way.

  • Thanks Buddy and Linda. I know it was hard having it all in one day, but better for mom. You were such good friends when Marlene needed you most. I know that, and appreciate it. I’ll be talking to you soon.

  • Thank you.
