Mary Agnes Sheain
Born October 9, 1921
Mary Agnes Sheain, age 92, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, leaving her devoted son and caretaker, William Sheain, her loving daughter, Patricia Smith, and a special granddaughter, Sandy Klerlein, who always brought a smile to her grandmom’s face. Also left to mourn her passing are her sons, John Kelly and Reverend Joseph Kelly; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Mary’s family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Compassionate Care Hospice for the all of the special and wonderful care and comfort they provided.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 20, 2013, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where friends may call from 10 am until 11 am. Mary will be laid to rest with her loving husband of 40 years, the late William W. Sheain, Sr., in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 702 B Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805.
