Born in Philadelphia, PA, on April 8, 1953, Mary Ann grew up in Newark, DE, attending Holy Angels School and the old Mt. Aviat Academy High School. While attending high school, she also earned her Pilots license through Civil Air Patrol. At the University of Delaware, she received a degree with distinction and honor in History.

Upon graduating from the University of Delaware, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship and attended the University of Cologne in Germany. Upon her return to the United States, God led her to a monastic life with the Poor Clare Monastery in Roswell, NM, and the Visitation Monastery in Toledo, OH. Mary Anns words of advice are simple: Trust God and trust the life to which you are called. Pray often and God will take care of you.
