Mary Ellen Biederman

Mary Ellen Biederman, age 82, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Glasgow, DE, on October 9, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Anna (Barr) Brown. Mary Ellen graduated from Newark High School in 1954. She loved being a stay at home wife and mother. As a young teen she enjoyed attending Glasgow Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Brown and Marjorie Truitt. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, George H. Biederman; son, Larry Biederman (Debbie) and their children, Travis and Brianna Biederman; brother, Allen Brown (Linda); sister, Eleanor Irwin; grandson, Michael and Christina Biederman and their children, Aiden and Bailey; and granddaughter, Sumer Biederman and her son, Cameron Biederman.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Entombment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
