Mary M. Rzemieniewski
Mary M. Rzemieniewski, age 71, of Newark, DE, formerly of New Castle, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012.
Mary, a native Delawarean, was born in Wilmington on August 3, 1940 and graduated from Wilmington High School. A talented homemaker throughout her life, she had also been employed as a school bus driver for 35 years until her retirement.
Mary was always willing to help someone and volunteered in a variety of community programs over the years. She especially enjoyed singing in the church choir. In her leisure time, she loved taking trips to the beach, and, most especially, spending time with her beloved children and precious grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Rzemieniewski, father, Joseph Dougherty, mother, Mabel A. Robinson, stepfather, Joseph Robinson, Sr., and brother, Howard Dougherty. She is survived by her daughter, Ann R. Trent and husband Kevin of Newark; son, Joseph J. Rzemieniewski and wife Vickie of Middletown; brothers, Joseph Dougherty of Margate, FL, Richard Robinson of Elizabethtown, NC, and Joseph Robinson of Bristol, TN; and grandchildren, Courtney J. Trent and Nicolas J. Trent of Newark.
A visitation will begin at 11 am on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, with a funeral service to follow at 12 noon. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
