Meilani Marie Faye Dearth

Meilani Marie Faye Dearth, 6 ½-month-old infant daughter of Roger W. and Kimberly K. (Murphy) Dearth of New Castle, DE, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, James Murphy at home; maternal grandparents, David and Patricia Murphy of New Castle; paternal grandfather, Jeffrey Dearth (Lisa Grant) of New Castle; paternal grandmother, Linda Solan (Larry) of Harwood, MD; maternal great grandparents, William and Regina Murphy of FL; paternal great grandparents, Glen and Marie Dearth of OH; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 Noon on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Immanuel Church, 2414 Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19806, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to assist with funeral expenses, c/o Spicer-Mullikin, 1000 N. DuPont Hwy., New Castle, DE 19720.

  • I realize that you don’t know us, but I cared for your brothers (Jeffrey & Jermey) when they were little. They are very dear to me and their mother a dear friend. You being their brother and your sweet baby their niece. I know all to well the pain of losing your child. I am so very sorry for your families pain. My best wish for you at this time is to take each day one step at a time. Won’t lie and say it gets better. You will just do the best you can. I will be keeping you in my prayers.
