Mrs. Minnie Corsello, age 94, of Newark, DE, formerly of Wilmington, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013.
A native Delawarean, Mrs. Corsello was born in Wilmington on November 26, 1918, daughter of the late Dewey Bartlett and Elizabeth Sakal Bartlett. She was a talented and resourceful homemaker throughout her life and a longtime member of White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the Sunshine Circle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in by her first husband, John Concord, her second husband, Joseph Corsello, and her son, William. She is survived by her son, John and his wife Barbara of Newark; sister-in-law, Molly Pankowski; three grandchildren, Karen Goff (Greg), Deborah Concord Smith, and Julia Pardue (Shawn); seven great grandchildren, Chris Sloan, Kari Kroll, Sarah Mutter, Kara Pardue, Allysa Pardue, Brynn Smith, and Jacob Kroll; great great grandson, Grayson Kroll; stepson, Joseph Corsello; Shawna Corsello; and step grandchildren, Joanna Corsello and Lauren Corsello.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 15, 2013, at White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 15 Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10 am.
