  • Dear Clint, I want to convey my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. The Nadine I always knew was such a kind and warm person, always wanting to be of service to those around her. Whether at your post home, at a statewide VFW function or patriotic observance, in an office setting, in Washington, DC or Dover or Rehoboth or all around New Castle County, Nadine was the same cordial and upbeat lady who made me feel glad that I had an opportunity to be in her company. I’m truly grateful that Senator Joe afforded me the privilege of working those many years with Nadine for the benefit of the VFWA and our State’s veterans. Your dear wife did make the world better. Please know, Clint, that there are many of us who share a little bit of your tremendous loss. In VFW Brotherhood, “The Captain” (Tom Lewis).
