Nancy L. Patterson

Nancy L. Patterson, age 85, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018.
Born in Claymont, DE on November 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Doris (Porter) Hoyt. Nancy graduated from Claymont High School, where she lettered in field hockey, basketball and softball. After graduation she attended Goldey Beacom. Although, dedicated to her career with the State of Delaware Family Court as a secretary, Nancy loved spending time with her family and family gatherings.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Horace G. Patterson, Jr.; son, John Patterson; and brother, David DeGraw. She is survived by her children, Gayle Derrickson of Middletown, DE and Timothy Patterson of Middletown, DE; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
