Nettie M. (Henry) Schoen, age 80, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 14, 2015.
Born in Bentonville, VA on November 9, 1934, Mrs. Schoen was a daughter of the late Harry and Esther (Ralls) Henry. She devoted her life to caring for her family and was a talented homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin G. Fristoe, who died in 1981, second husband, Earl K. Schoen who died in 2009, and siblings, Hilbert Henry, Gilbert Henry, Elbert Henry, Rachel Henry Mills and Jean Henry Wines. Mrs. Schoen is survived by her daughters, Donna D. Bucci (Frank) of Wilmington, DE and Lori F. Griffitts (Walter) of North East, MD; siblings, Nellie Henry Campbell and Charles Henry, both of Front Royal, VA; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas E. Bucci, Joseph A. Bucci, Madison L. Krummel (Peter), John S. Griffitts and Caleb A. Griffitts; devoted caregiver and friend, Jaqueline Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment were held in Front Royal, VA.
