Nicholas M. Killen

Nicholas M. Nick Killen, age 47, of Elkton, MD, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 15, 2014.

Born in Chester, PA on September 16, 1967, Nick was a son of Robert J. Killen and Mary K. Hayden. After completing high school, he began working as an automobile technician and was most recently employed at R&R Automotive.

An avid Dallas Cowboy’s fan, Nick looked forward to cheering on his favorite team each season. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, working on cars and playing pool. Nick was a true family man who adored spending time with his loved ones and will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Jazmine Battaglia (Paul) and William C. Killen (Kimberly); step children, John Rice, Krystal Erhart and Duane Speck; former wife, Kimberly Killen; nieces Therese Katheryne and Madison; and grandchildren, Destiny, Gaige and Connor.

A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Monday evening, December 29, 2014, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a visitation will be held from 5 pm until 6 pm. Interment will be private.
