Paul R. Wallendorf
Mr. Paul R. Wallendorf, age 62, of Delaware City, DE, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 3, 2013.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on May 15, 1950, Mr. Wallendorf proudly served his country in the US Navy. In civilian life, he currently made his career as a professional delivery driver with Quick-Courier, a job he greatly enjoyed. He was well liked by fellow employees and his customers. His favorite pastimes included spending time with family and his many friends and watching TV.
He is survived by his siblings, William H. Wallendorf of Baltimore, MD, Wayne Wallendorf of Millington, MD, Margaret Jackson of Delaware City, DE, and JoAnn Parsons of Townsend, DE; an aunt, Rose Marie Hall (Austin) of Newark, DE; an uncle, Alvin H. Hall, Sr. of New Castle, DE; and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor C. Hall (Wallendorf, Jackson) and a brother, Arthur W. Wallendorf, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 214 Clinton Street, Delaware City, DE, where visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
