Peter M. Booksh, age 43, of Newark, DE, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
Peter was born in Dallas, TX on February 18, 1974, and was a son of Sidney J. and Sheila A. (Braun) Booksh. Although Delaware was his home, he spent most of his life living in Anchorage, AK.
Peter relished being outdoors and especially loved fishing, camping, and most of all, campfires. He adored driving just about anywhere. Above all else, Peter was happiest in the company of his beloved family and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wilton and Vera Booksh and maternal grandparents, Henry and Violet Braun. Peter is survived by his parents, Sidney J. and Sheila A. Booksh of Newark; brother, Karl Booksh (Tamra Olsen); and nephews, Skyler and Cody Booksh.
Services and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peter’s memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803 or to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.

Sheila and Sid — So very sorry to read about your loss. Peter was young 43, and it’s hard for me to believe he was 43 b/c I still see him in my mind as a younger man — a teenager becoming a young man. Please accept my sincere condolence for your loss. He’s in a better place now. Best to you–MCRose
