Mr. Philip Hutchinson MacInnis III, age 62, of Newark, DE, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, surrounded by his beloved family at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital after a brief illness.
Phil was a native Delawarean, born in Wilmington on October 21, 1950, son of the late Philip H. MacInnis II and Gloria Thompson MacInnis. A 1968 graduate of Newark High School, he would go on to earn his bachelors degree in agricultural economics from the University of Delaware in 1973. For the past 11 years, he was employed professionally as a financial analyst for the Delaware Solid Waste Authority.
