  • I never got to know my step great grandmother Rachel, but according to my grandmother she knew me. She knew I was a writer and I actually just got off the phone with my grandmother and grandfather and found out she was proud of me despite not knowing me well, and even despite her dementia. I am saddened that I will never get to know her personally but through my family I’ll get to learn her legacy, and through myself I’ll get to live it to.
My condolences go out to all those who knew her personally during her final days easpecialy my grandmother and grandfather.
I hope she has found peace and health in the afterlife that she couldn’t find her later years here.
