  • Although we were not able to attend the services today, we spent many moments remembering Rich Sunday. As one of my wonderful young swimmers at FFC to the lifeguard stand, Rich stood out as a ‘team turtle’, full of youthful wisdom and overflowing with life! In his later years, the reaching out across miles and time to share his successes and give kindness to the aging Mrs. ‘P’ was received with sincere appreciation. The world, and most assuredly your family has lost a very special person, leaving a hole for all. May your memories and Rich’s love for you, provide peace today and always! Mrs. ‘P’ and Coach Chelle

  • Ann Marie and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Rich’s passing. I will always remember the joy and inspiration he had given to me over the years. His true love of life and his family brought so much to us all. May God Bless the entire family and all of us that were fortunate enough to know such an amazing man.

  • Mike,
Thank you for your kind words. How are you? Mary

  • I am completely shocked. I met Rich in the mid 1990’s and we became good friends. I was at several of his birthday parties and went out to Ohio to visit him when he lived in Loveland. I hadn’t heard from him since the spring of 2015 and he told me he was getting back in shape after a recent illness diagnosis. Each year I would wait to see his Christmas letter describing how he enjoyed life to the fullest. He always remembered to send me a birthday card. It was always ‘all about Richie’ and I remember that was on his birthday cake once. I just found out today and I am completely sad over the loss. My thoughts are with his family and his closest friends as I know they are as devastated by the loss. I will miss him the rest of my life.

  • A very dear friend for years. I will so miss his humor and smile. And his most generous and charitable way. RIP Rich. Pray for us.

  • Was going through some old files and came upon Rich’s resume and in trying to get in touch I sadly came across this post. Rich was a great person and really genuine individual. My condolences for the family. RIP Rich πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
