Ricky M. Laxton, age 62, of New Castle, DE and formerly of Pennsville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014.
Born in Salem, New Jersey on August 26, 1951, Ricky was a son of the late Gordon Laxton, Sr. and Dorothy Fortino Laxton. He made his career as a carpenter with Local Union #626 in New Castle.
Ricky is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Judy McCullough Laxton; daughter, Brittany Carreno (Mark); sons, Eric Laxton and Vincent Laxton; brothers, Gordon Laxton, Jr. (Nana), Steven Laxton (Sandra) and John Laxton; sister, Donna Laxton; sisters-in-law, Susan Taylor (Scott) and Rebecca McCullough; and granddaughter, Morgan Laxton.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 am on Friday morning, March 28, 2014, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Burial will be held privately.
