  • Laura & Matt,
I am so sorry and know how hard this is for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please know that we are here for you. In the short time I’ve known “Grandpa Ron”, his smile and laugh is what I will miss the most. Or is it his funny jokes, playing the drums with his hands on the counter, talking about music and bands, or The best sandwich shops in Phillie. We enjoyed a few trips to Florida with him and his visit to WI. He is now upstairs playing for the big guy and enjoying the dance with his wife.
    Love u guys!
    Ann, John, and kids.

  • Please accept my condolences. I attended high school with Ron.

  • Ron was a gentle giant. He was always happy and had a smile on his face. He truly loved life and lived it to the fullest. Everyone who took the time to know Ron, knew what a great man he was. He would do anything for anyone and never ask or expect anything in return. May you and my Mom be at peace for eternity. Love and miss you both.

  • I wish we were having his 70th birthday party instead of this. He told me “you only have to do one thing well in life.” While he did many things well. Super drummer, good friend, goofball, hard worker and never hesitated to help when needed. No wonder he was loved and enjoyed by all he met. He was just cool. We ll miss him.

  • I do not believe I posted about Ron at his passing seven years ago. But for Bing, Dawn and all the family I’ll mention that Ron lived four doors up the street from me in Glendale during our school years. We were good friends and I have some great memories of Ron…including several funny stories of our escapades together. I left for the Navy after graduation in 1965 and lost touch after that. Ron was an impressive person, loved by everyone. – Jim Fox
