  • Goodbye to a dear friend and one who loved to serve. Special prayers for blessings to the family. Rosemary was an awesome Mom and neighbor. We will miss you.

  • Rosemary Haines was truly a remarkable and beautiful person who will be solely missed by all who knew her. I got to know Rosemary in my early teaching career at the Independence School where Cabray and Elizabeth were my kindergarten students. Rosemary was a parent helper in my classroom where her creativity, kindness and her ability to inspire all who came in contact with her was remarkable. It was at that time that she crafted a paper plate angel for the kindergarten class to make. Years after Cabray and Elizabeth left kindergarten, I made those angels with my classes. I called them the “Rosemary Angels”. How fitting, she truly was an “angel” in life. Her light will shine on forever in all who knew her.
My condolences to Charlie, Cabray and Elizabeth.

  • Dear Friends and Cousins,
We all must grieve as is it should be; but…as a sister in Christ, I rejoice that Christ is risen!
    Love through all the tears…Nelle.

  • Beautiful inside and out! We will miss her very much. Rosemary was one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. Elegant, kind, warm, funny, and friendly. I was lucky to have known her. Wishing strength and healing to her family.

  • I knew Rosemary as the mom of two wonderful girls at The Independence School. She was an active parent volunteer who always offered help. I recall first meeting Rosemary and being struck instantly by the strength, serenity, and compassion she radiated. She truly was an inspiring lady and she will live on in Cabray and Elizabeth and her grandchildren. My thoughts and prayers are with Charlie, Cabray and Elizabeth in this sad time. Your wife and mother was indeed a remarkable lady who will be missed.

  • I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find comfort and peace from the words found at Revelation 21:4 where God promises that “death will be no more”. What a wonderful time that will be.

  • I have such fond memories of our time as parents at The Independence School. What a wonderful person she was . My sympathies to Cabray and Elizabeth.

  • My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of Rosemary.
May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. A scripture that has uplifted me during times such as this is found at Revelation 21:4. There it describes a time when death and pain will be gone forever after God restores his original purpose for the earth. We will even see our loved ones again who we have lost in death (John 5:28 & 29). It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time as well. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.

  • She had a calming influence over me. And she was great conversationalist:smooth and engaging. She saw humor in many things: she seemed amused by much of life. I’ll miss her.

  • Liz, my thoughts are with you and all of your family as you mourn you Mom’s passing. I know I join all of our colleagues at Martha’s Table wishing you the best as you and your family heal from the loss and move towards the memories of all that was wonderful about your mother. All my best, and take care,

    Patty

  • Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. While we only knew Rosemary for a little over three years it doesn’t take a long time to know when you have met a special person. Rosemary was one of the first neighbors to greet me when we moved into the neighborhood. She was always so warm, caring and helpful. I will miss seeing her with the walking ladies in the mornings as I’m out on my run. May you find comfort knowing she is in a better place. May she rest in peace.

  • Cabray and Elizabeth, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother She was so encouraging to me and supportive to all of us at Independence. I know both of you will carry forward her smile and kindness. We are all better people for knowing her and the wonderful family she raised.

  • Dear Cabray and Elizabeth,

My sister and I had a similar journey when our mother passed so I feel your sorrow deeply and you have my sincere sympathy.

I schedule the volunteers at the NEC and knew Rosemary as a volunteer. She was the best. She always had a lovely smile on her face, a sweet spirit, and more than willing hands to help out with whatever was needed. I am sorry that I did not get to know her better.

You are her legacy and such a fine human being could only raise daughters that will shine on for her in all they do as they go forward in life. There is no doubt that she loved you dearly.

May sweet memories of your mother help you share this difficult time together.

  • Dear Cabray and Liz ~

Your mother was one of a kind…a very special person who will always have a very special place in my the fabric of my life. I know that she still lives in both of you,and your beautiful children. She was so proud of you all, and deservedly so. Even as I write this, I still have a lump in my throat and a pain in my heart, and therefore, I cannot imagine your own sorrow, but remember that she is still with you, always and forever.

Sending my love and peace to you and yours,

    Mindi
