Born February 17, 1962

Rosemary O’Donnell, age 55, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully at home, while surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

Rosemary was born in Wilmington, DE on February 17, 1962, and was the daughter of John and Ann T. (Jennings) Snyder. She was a graduate of Padua Academy and received her associate’s degree in Business Administration from Delaware Technical and Community College. Rosemary worked as a claim representative for All State Insurance for 17 years. A true animal lover, she adored her pets who brought her great joy during her illness.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her father, John. She is survived by her mother, Ann T. Snyder of Wilmington; children, Charles Lockerman of Wilmington, Kassie L. O’Donnell of Wilmington and Michael C. Blanco of Newark; soul mate, Michael F. Blanco, Sr. of Newark; siblings, Karen W. Widdoes (Timothy) of Newark and John A. Snyder (Jean) of Wilmington; dear friend, Holly Ceriale; and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Seasons Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to Rosemary.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 1 pm on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
