Sandra E. Jamison, age 71, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2015.

Born in Boothwyn, PA on June 6, 1943, Sandra was a daughter of the late Russell Evans and Helen Calhoun Evans. She made her career as an administrative assistant with the University of Delaware, retiring after 18 years of dedicated service.

A woman of strong faith, Sandra was a longtime member of Kingswood United Methodist Church in Newark. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.

Sandra is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Jerone W. Jamison; daughters, Jodi Lynne Blomquist and her husband Bryan, Sr. and Janna D. Jamison; sister, Janice Hinkle; and 3 grandchildren, Jaeda Jamison, Bryan Blomquist, Jr. and Bayli Blomquist.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday afternoon, January 27, 2015 at the Christiana Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 15 North Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm at the Kingswood United Methodist Church, 300 Marrows Road, Newark, DE 19713.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kingswood United Methodist Church at the address listed above.
