  • I have fond memories of Sandy, my cousin. I saw him frequently at duPont. He told me about Korea, growing up, neither of us thought I would ever get to see it. But I did. When I was sent to Europe in 1967 I had no fore warning I would be there for years, never to return to Delaware. He was a great guy and a friend. Bob Stockman

  • So very sorry to read this sad news. I have great memories of you and Sandy, what a great man. I think of your family every time I look across the lagoon. My deepest sympathy to you Mary Lou and the boys.

  • Mary Lou,

I have such fond memories of you and Sandy. Remembering fun times at KeenWik, Fenwick Island as a child. Mom and dad always enjoyed your times together in the “old” days. Thinking of you and wishing you peace. Love, Karen Stradley Coker

  • I must have missed Sandy’s obituary the first day. When I saw it in the paper Thursday evening, it was too late to attend the service. That made me sad because I loved working with Sandy several years ago at DuPont. It was great fun working with him. We all worked hard, but had a terrific time!
I know he will be missed as he was always talking about his family. Please accept my condolences from one who worked with Sandy many years back and remembers him very fondly.
