Thomas A. Wilson, age 76, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.

Born in Camden, New Jersey on September 12, 1939, Thomas was the son of the late Albert Wilson and Mary (Colsey) Wilson. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force and would later make his career as a professional truck driver with Laidlaw for many years.

In his leisure time, Thomas enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and talking with friends. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who adored spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sons, Marc Thomas Wilson and Phillip Riddle. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Wilson of New Castle and Loma Caracclolo of Allentown, PA; former wife, Nancy Wilson; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday afternoon, October 3, 2015, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where family and friends may visit from 1 pm until 2 pm. Interment will be held privately in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Dept. of Delaware, PO Box 407, Camden, DE 19934.
