Thomas C. Senff
Mr. Thomas C. Senff, age 80, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Hockessin, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2011.
Born in Cleveland, OH, on May 4, 1931, Mr. Senff was the son of the late Carrol N. Senff and Alma Strecjeck Senff. He graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Kappa fraternity, and later proudly served his country in the US Army in Frankfurt, Germany, during the Korean War.
A leader in the local business community, Mr. Senff co-owned the Minuteman Press on Kirkwood Highway with his son, John, for 22 years until his retirement in 2008.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Lois T. Cheche Senff, in 2007, and by daughters, Jami R. Ingerson and Terry Lynn Senff. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela S. Wheeler and husband, David, of Knoxville, TN; son, John T. Senff and wife, Marie, of Newark; son-in-law, Douglas Ingerson of Hockessin; grandchildren, Ethan Wheeler, Thomas Robert Senff, and Tessa Rose Ingerson; and great grandson, Owen Wheeler.
Services and interment will be held privately.
