Thomas Wade “Tom” Brooks, Jr.

Thomas Wade Brooks, Jr., affectionately known as Tom, age 56, of New Castle, DE, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.

Born in Jennersville, PA on March 4, 1961, he was a son of Thomas Wade and Jeannette (Phillips) Brooks, Sr. Tom made his career as a construction worker with Worthy Brothers in Wilmington for many years. He was an avid Nascar race fan and enjoyed riding on his Harley Davidson.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Connie Lillian (Johnson) Brooks; son, Thomas W. Brooks III; step sons, Billy Potter, Jr. and Matthew Johnson, Jr.; brother, Kevin Brooks (Lisa); and several nieces and nephews.

Services and interment will be held privately.
