Such sad news. These are the times when only the arms of God can hold us up and at times carry us through. May we celebrate the good times. Lots of good memories. Certainly enjoyed Troy’s friendship and love you all so very much.

Thank you Anita for your kind thoughts. It is very hard loosing a younger sibling. Just doesn’t seem like that’s how nature had it planned but we give thanks that Troy is no longer in pain.

To Troy’s family and friends,
I am truly sad to hear of Troy’s passing. Since Oct 2012, I have been visiting the Catholic residents on Unit 3 at BAH&R, as a Eucharistic Minister from St. Margaret Church and I have regularly prayed with Troy and brough him Communion. He was a very sweet man whom I will miss visiting. You and Troy are in my prayers.
Blessings,

I first met Troy when I joined the MdTA Police as a Cadet in 2003. I was walking foot patrol at BWI Airport on a cold winter day, when Troy came cruising through the lower level in a black Chevy Camaro, wearing motor boots. I was immediately in aw. seeing a member of the elite HEAT Team up close. Troy sparked up a conversation with me and I told him how after I graduate from the academy, I want to get experience in patrol and eventually worked my way onto HEAT (Homeland Enforcement and Traffic).
The next day, I came into work as I usually did and prepared to go outside and direct traffic, when I was called in by duty office by the shift supervisor. She said you’re going on a ride along today, someone requested to take you. I thought to myself, who the heck would want to take a Cadet on a ride along and actually volunteer to? Walked outside to find Troy waiting in a black Chevy Camero. Troy said you want to be HEAT?, hop in, lets show you how it’s done.
Just one experience to show what kind of person Troy was to take time from his day to let a young bottom feeder cadet experience riding with a specialized unit officer for a day. I still remember this experience 10 years later and do the same now for Cadets because of it.
