Vincent L. Giglio

Vincent L. Giglio, age 88, of Middletown, DE, and formerly of Hauppauge, NY, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

Born in Queens, New York on September 8, 1928, Mr. Giglio was a son of the late Rosario and Anna (Gulino) Giglio. He made his career as a quality control specialist with Fairchild Aviation and Northrup Grumman, retiring after many years of dedicated service.

A hardworking family man, Mr. Giglio adored spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandson. He enjoyed being outdoors doing yardwork and took great pleasure in gardening. An avid baseball fan, Mr. Giglio was a diehard Mets supporter. He liked completing word puzzles in his leisure time. Above all else, Mr. Giglio will be remembered as a loving and generous man with a heart of gold.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Victoria (Roberto) Giglio; daughter, Christine Giglio-Nanni and husband, John of Middletown, DE; brother, Benjamin Giglio of Smithtown, NY; and grandson, Joel Rosenthal and wife, Kristen of Newark, DE.

Interment was held in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
