Wayne R. Taddei

Wayne R. Taddei, age 54, of Clayton, DE, formerly of New Castle, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on October 23, 1962, he was the son of Nancy (Perone) and the late Ernest Taddei.

Wayne was a former volunteer firefighter and EMT with Holloway Terrace Fire Company. He was a very creative and artistic person who enjoyed drawing and collecting model trains.  In his younger years, Wayne taught himself to play the guitar and drums and loved to play street hockey and softball. Wayne was a kind and gentle soul who was a dear friend to many.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Melvin Seichepine. Wayne is survived by his mother, Nancy Taddei; sisters, Pamela Seichepine and Debbie Hadley (Ray); and his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, Dawn Richardson, Steven Seichepine, Marisa Hadley, and Nick Hadley.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am to 12 noon on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will be held at 12 noon. Interment will be private.
