Willa D. Baiocco, age 55, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at the Delaware Hospice Center.

Born in Richmond, VA on October 13, 1958, Willa was a daughter of the late John E. Thomas and Viola C. Brooks Thomas. She made her career with the former Maryland Bank and retired after many years of service.

Willa is survived by her son, Paul D. Baiocco; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday morning, June 6, 2014, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 222 Clinton Street (Third and Clinton Streets), Delaware City, DE. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.

  • I grew up with Willa and her siblings we went to school together from grade school to High School and graduated together.She was a good friend and we hung around together we we were young and through school.As we get older some of us get married and move away we lose contact with our friends.I will always remember the good times and cherish the memories we had together growing up together.Willa will be deeply missed and never forgotten.R.I.P Willa xoxoxoxoxo
