William D. Fellenbaum, Jr., age 61, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 4, 2016.

A native Delawarean, Bill was born in Wilmington on March 31, 1954 and was the son of the late William D., Sr. and Emma M. (Durham) Fellenbaum. He made his career as a foreman with the former Helmark Steel in Wilmington, retiring after many years of dedicated service.

Bill was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing in his leisure time. Above all else, he was a caring and devoted family man who was happiest in the company of his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. Bill will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by the love of his life and partner of 15 years, Roberta Parag; children, Heather Migliore and fiancé, Stephen Kearney, Michael Fellenbaum and Billy Fellenbaum III; step children, Mark Parag and wife, Lida, Matthew Parag, Stephen Parag and Andrea Ellingsworth and husband, Howard; grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Tyler, Brittany, Kirsten, Kayla, Haydn, Ellie, Autumn, Samantha and Howard; and his faithful canine companion, Snowball.

A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Monday evening, January 11, 2016, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 pm until 6 pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Drive, Ste. 101, Newark, DE 19713.
