Mr. William L. “Bill” Crossan, Jr., age 85, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Christiana Hospital after a short illness.

Born on April 2, 1926, in Wilmington, DE, Mr. Crossan was the son of the late William L. Crossan, Sr. and Josephine V. (Staszesky) Crossan. He was a graduate of Newark High School, Class of 1944. A portion of his military time was served in the Army occupation of Japan. Following his discharge, he worked for several local businesses, including Boulden Oil in Newark.
