William L. Purdham, age 90, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2015.
Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on July 17, 1924, Mr. Purdham was the son of the late Reese and Pearl Purdham. He bravely served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Purdham made his career as a farm hand and worked in the industry for many years prior to retiring.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday morning, April 7, 2015, at the Veterans Hospital Community Living Center, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805, where a visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 11 am. Interment in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE, will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Hospital Community Living Center, at the address listed above.
